🚍 Code of Conduct for School Transport

📌 Eligibility & Access

• ★ School transport is provided subject to seat availability. Routes are planned considering convenience and time efficiency.
• ★ Parents must consult the Transport In-Charge for details or change requests.
• ★ Identity cards must be worn daily by students using school transport.

🕒 Timings & Punctuality

• ★ Students must reach their designated bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
• ★ Buses will not wait for latecomers. Missed buses must not be chased; parents are responsible for dropping the child to school.

🚸 Boarding & Conduct

• ★ Wait on the door-opening side of the vehicle and away from the main road until the bus arrives.
• ★ Do not approach the entry door until the bus has come to a complete stop.
• ★ Board and alight silently and in an orderly manner.
• ★ Occupy assigned seats immediately; seat reservation for friends is not allowed.
• ★ Students must remain seated while the bus is moving.
• ★ Keep the aisle clear; stow bags safely.
• ★ No part of the body should be extended outside the bus.
• ★ Do not throw objects in or out of the vehicle.
• ★ Eating or drinking in the vehicle is not allowed.
• ★ Maintain courteous and quiet behavior at all times.
• ★ Students must not distract the driver under any circumstance.

🚏 Stops & Supervision

• ★ Buses stop only at designated stops—routes are finalized for student safety and may be modified as needed.
• ★ Teachers and bus monitors are in charge of discipline during travel. Serious offenses will be reported to the Head of School.
• ★ Any change of stop or bus (temporary/permanent) requires written permission via the official form.

👧 Parent Responsibilities

• ★ Ensure your child is escorted to/from the bus stop, especially for younger children.
• ★ Only authorized persons with school-issued identity cards may receive students at the stop/school gate.
• ★ Lost identity cards must be replaced by applying through the school office with the remaining card and applicable charges.
• ★ For those not using school transport, parents must arrive 10 minutes before start/dispersal for drop/pick-up.
• ★ Identity cards are valid for one academic year and must be surrendered when a new one is issued.

🚪 Early Departure During School Hours

• ★ A written request must be submitted by the parent/guardian.
• ★ The parent’s ID card must be shown.
• ★ The school leaving register must be signed.
• ★ A Gate Pass must be collected and shown at the exit.

❗ Transport Withdrawal

• ★ Advance notice must be submitted to withdraw from school transport services.
